[The Theory]

Yup its good

Its a pretty good trance song. It's also got some industrial elements too. It's harder and more gritty than trance usually is. It's good not as trippy as some songs ive listening too but it seems to be aiming for a more euphoric feel.

all in all pretty good.

I just want to know 1 thing

what is that high pitched white noise in the background that seems to be coming from the clicky hat. It sounds terrible its giving me a headache I had to turn down the music. Honestly i dont want to be insulting but this music just hurts my ears. It's not even trance its techno. I find it so ironic that people who make trance call it techno and people who make techno call it trance.

this song is just grating its not really trippy its just clonky. I don't think it was a good idea making all the drums thump at the same time. its like taking the skeleton structure that drums are supposed to be and removing the arms legs torso and ribcage leaving only the skull and spine. It needs more variation and it needs to feel less minimal.

I mean as a minimal song its fulfilling its promise but completely at the expense of quality of song composition.

could count as minimal house. if the drums and kicks were more compact.

I love all the interesting flavor in this song. If this loop was rebuilt to be a full length song it would be epic.

it needs some more variation in the drum work. If you want some advice I would go for more obscure samples than the ones you are working with on fruity loops.

Scour the internets and take anything that isnt boarded down with a gay copyright preventing you from taking it.

People who are idm heads spend endless hour arguing about what is IDM and what isn't I would ignore them and their low voting. Basically you are more or less hitting the mark and that's all thats really required.

Creepy

Nice song it certainly fulfills its promise of creepy and atmospheric and yet its something you don't hear all that often. Ambient Breaks. Which is usually somehting you only hear in car commercials and movie soundtracks to the matrix lol.

This tune probably has more going on than anything I've ever written to date. I tell ya it was murder to keep everything in-line, but I think the constant motion of everything paid off.

its not bad. The drums are kinda repetitive and its annoying the way they keep cutting out. YOu need to switch it up introduce a new drum beat not just use the premade slices in fl studio.

the beginning part is very cool it sounds like ur mixing together the old school drum beat and adding your own kick and snare very nice.

I just decided to submit this because I haven't cotibuted to the audio portal in a while. It's a really old song and I agree with what you said and will keep it in mind. And yes, the drums are REALLY ANNOYING!

haha this song is kinda silly n spastic but it still makes me wanna dance.

I'm definetely giving props on this one despite inconsistent sound quality its just too fun to resist

NEeds some work

but overall its a nice trancestep tune.

the bass in the middle of the song is great but the synths are being drowned out by it when they come in. i would turn down the synth bass just a tad like take that treble bar on your bass and jus tturn it off. It gives more space in dnb songs (trancestep songs especially) for the synths.

the buzzy bass is great though i give you credit i love all the twitchy and trippy feelings i get from this song

Thanks for the review. Yeah, I didn't really put effort into the mix, so the interaction of the sounds could have been loads better. And as much as I love the rumbling from the bass, I agree that I could've turned it down and bring the other instruments forward.
